Non-Operative Fracture Care
At Evinci our physiotherapists are extensively trained in fracture care. There are many fractures we are able to manage, saving you time and providing you with up to date best practice advice and expert care. Our physiotherapists will provide you with a comprehensive assessment, referral for x-ray or other imaging if required and manage your treatment. If your fracture requires specialist orthopaedic care we will refer you in the right direction. Generally if your fracture is closed (i.e. it is not bleeding) and minimally displaced (i.e. the fracture has not moved a significant distance) we are likely to have the appropriate cast, splint, boot, shoe or brace for you. Of course if there is a very obvious deviation, deformity or angle to your bone you are best to seek emergency care. If you are unsure please give us a call. Some common fracture types we will treat:

-
Hand or finger fractures
-
Wrist fractures not for surgery
-
Elbow fractures
-
Shoulder fractures
-
Plaster removal
-
Clavicle fractures
-
Ankle fractures not requiring surgery
-
Metatarsal shaft or neck fractures
-
